Brockton Man Arrested After Chase Down Route 44 In Raynham
The chase was called after the man forced another driver to veer off the road. But thanks to some help from Somerset police, he was found.

BROCKTON, MA — A Brockton man was arrested in Somerset, after leading Raynham officers on a chase down Route 44, according to police. Kie Hendrix, 32, was charged with failure to stop for police, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operation of a motor vehicle with a revoked license, speeding, and marked lane violations. Hendrix had four outstanding warrants, stemming from drug and motor vehicle charges.
Around 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, A Raynham police officer noticed Hendrix driving a black Mercedes sedan. When the officer looked over, Hendrix turned his head to hide his face and quickly turned onto Orchard Street, police said.
After noticing Hendrix drive by twice in a short span of time, police saw Hendrix pull into a gast station at the intersection of South Street and Route 44. Police said Hendrix was acting suspiciously, parking at a pump but never getting out for gas. When the officer pulled into the gas station, Hendrix sped away onto Route 44, police said.

Police said Hendrix drove aggressively through several red lights and forced another driver to veer off the road. Out of safety and because police already had Hendrix's registration information, police called off the chase.
After the chase, Raynham police got a tip from Somerset police that Hendrix can usually be found at an inn on Riverside Avenue in Somerset. Around 8 a.m., Wednesday, Somerset police went to the inn and found Hendrix's car in the paring lot. Police said Hendrix was in the lobby of the hotel, when they arrived and placed him under arrest.
