Brockton Man Charged With Smashing Brockton Officer's Car Windows
The suspect told police someone was threatening to kill him, so he smashed the car windows to trigger the alarms.

BROCKTON, MA — Police said they arrested a man after he smashed the windows of two officers' personal cars.
Bowie Hall, 43, pleaded not guilty Monday to allegations that he smashed the windows of the two cars, both parked over the weekend at the Brockton Police Station. Hall was charged with two counts of malicious damage to a motor vehicle.
Police told the Brockton Enterprise Hall that Hall claimed someone was threatening to kill him, so he smashed the windows to trigger the car alarms, instead of coming into the station. Police said there was no evidence that Hall was being threatened.
