Brockton Police Raise $5,000 For Local 9-Month-Old With Cancer
Two Brockton police officers raised $5,000 for a local family, whose daughter is battling Leukemia, by running in the Boston Marathon.

BROCKTON, MA — Two Brockton police officers run in the Boston Marathon annually to raise money for "Cops For Kids with Cancer," a group which raises money for families who have children suffering from the disease. This year, that money went towards helping a local family.
Thanks to Brockton police officers Matt Graham and Caroline Devi, "Cops For Kids with Cancer" was able to donate $5,000 to Quentin and Jennifer Wohlford, whose nine-month-old daughter Alannah has Leukemia. Cancer survivor Lt. Ken Legrice was also involved by helping organize the department's collaboration with the nonprofit.
"We want to thank cancer survivor Lt. Ken Legrice as well as all officers who are involved in this worthy cause ...," Brockton police said in a statement on Facebook. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the Wohlford family during this difficult time."
