Matias Andrade told Eugenia Monteiro that he would kill her if he found out she was in a relationship with another person.

BROCKTON, MA —- Matias Andrade told his ex-girlfriend Eugenia Monteiro that he would kill her if he found out she was in a relationship with another person and sadly, that threat became reality this week.
Monday night, Monteiro was shot to death inside her Brockton apartment. Family members knew something was wrong when she didn't pick up her kids from school, finding the deceased Monteiro in her apartment.
Prior to the shooting, Monteiro sent an acquaintance a text that said she feared that she would be killed if her ex-boyfriend found out about the new relationship, according to the Enterprise.
