New State Police Unit Recovers 377 Grams Of Fentanyl, $51K
Police arrested a 25-year-old Brockton man who was allegedly running a fentanyl operation from his home.

BROCKTON, MA — State Police seized nearly 400 grams of fentanyl and $51,000 when a newly created unit aimed at taking down violent opiate traffickers arrested a Brockton man Wednesday morning.
The Commonwealth Interstate Narcotics Reduction Enforcement Team (CINRET) had been investigated drugs sold within Plymouth County, including Brockton in May and June. The team learned Emmanuel Flores Ramos, 25, was allegedly selling fentanyl, using his Brockton address to keep large amounts of drugs.
Police obtained a search warrant and around 10:45 a.m. executed it at his Colonial Terrace home. Ramos was arrested after a brief struggle, police said.

Police said they recovered 377.5 grams of what is believed to be fentanyl, $51,323 in cash, numerous cell phones, digital scales and packaging materials.
Ramos is expected to be arraigned in Brockton District Court Thursday on trafficking of a Class A substance and resisting arrested.
