Snowblower Theft Suspect Arrested In Brockton

There have been several reported snowblowers stolen throughout the city, but it's unclear if the suspect is connected to those thefts.

BROCKTON, MA — A Brockton man already facing charges of carrying an illegal knife was arrested again after police said he stole a snowblower from a house on Grove Street.

Michael St. Jean, 35, was charged with larceny from a building and breaking and entering at night with intent to commit a felony.

On Saturday around 8 p.m., police were called to the Grove Street home. The homeowner told police he had home security footage showing Jean stealing his snowblower. After watching the video, police looked for and later tracked down a blue Chevy Colorado Jean was driving. Police told the Brockton Enterprise that Jean had evidence on him that allowed officers to identity him as the theft suspect.
