State Police Charge Brockton, Easton Men In Cocaine Bust

Massachusetts State Police charged two men with drug trafficking after finding nearly three kilograms of cocaine, fentanyl and cash in raid.

BROCKTON, MA — A Brockton man and Easton man were charged with drug trafficking after Massachusetts State Police said they seized nearly three kilograms of cocaine, as well as fentanyl and money, during an Easton raid on Thursday. Foster Monteiro, 28, of Brockton and Ryan Lincoln, 30, of South Easton were charged with Class A narcotic trafficking over 100 grams, Class B narcotics trafficking over 200 grams and conspiracy to violate controlled-substance laws.

State Police said they began an investigation last month into a drug-trafficking operation potentially run by Montiero with apartments on Robert Drive in Easton and South Street in Brockton as the bases of the operation. Search warrants were obtained for both apartments on Wednesday, and executed on Thursday morning after Monteiro and Lincoln were detained leaving the Easton residence within minutes of each other.

State Police said the searches yielded about 2.9 kilograms of cocaine, about 135 grams of fentanyl and $199,076 in cash. Monteiro and Lincoln were taken to the Bristol County House of Correction pending Friday's arraignment in Taunton District Court.
