BROOKLINE, MA — A rapidly expanding food hall and delivery company is opening a new location in Brookline later this month.

Wonder will officially open at 392 Harvard St. on Thursday, Sept. 24, beginning at 10:30 a.m. The opening will mark the company's 21st location across Massachusetts and New Hampshire and comes amid an expansion that includes 20 new locations in the two states throughout 2026.

Wonder operates multiple restaurant concepts out of each location, allowing customers to combine items from different menus into one order for dine-in, pickup, or delivery. Its restaurants include concepts associated with chefs and businesses including Bobby Flay, Marcus Samuelsson, Tejas Barbecue, and Di Fara Pizza. The company has also acquired meal-kit company Blue Apron and food delivery service Grubhub.

An invite-only event will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 23, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony beginning the event. Fellow nearby businesses Brookline Booksmith and Vinodivino are expected to participate, while Boston-based artist Julia Emiliani, whose work is featured at other Wonder locations in Massachusetts, will hold a live printing demonstration.

The public opening the following day will include giveaways for the first 100 customers and discounts for new and existing customers. Boston College mascot Baldwin the Eagle is scheduled to appear from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Customers will also be able to round up purchases to benefit The Greater Boston Food Bank.

Founded by former Walmart executive and Jet.com founder Marc Lore in 2018, Wonder initially operated using mobile kitchens before shifting its focus toward physical locations. The company has since expanded throughout the Northeast, including into Massachusetts with locations in communities including Medford, Cambridge, Belmont, Newton, Watertown, Natick, Framingham, Burlington, Canton, and Acton. Additional locations are planned in Massachusetts, including Worcester and Bellingham.
