High-end Food Purveyor Coming To Medford

The company offers dishes from famous chefs.

MEDFORD, MA — A fast-growing meal platform industry is making its way to Massachusetts in 2026 with a location in Medford.

Wonder is slated to open at 50 Station Landing in the neighborhood of Wellington next month. A formal ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Thursday, March 5 at 5 p.m. led by Wonder’s Market Operations Director John McGonigle.

Wonder is a delivery and take out business for “high-end” food. It was exclusive partnerships with famous chefs such as Bobby Flay, José Andrés, Nancy Silverton, and Marcus Samuelsson. The business was founded by entrepreneur billionaire Marc Lore in 2018 as an “on-wheels” concept but evolved into physical locations after the first few years in operation. All of the company’s locations are in the Northeast, with spots in New York, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, and now Massachusetts.

The opening celebration event will reportedly feature free samples, live music, and giveaways to attendees. The first 100 guests will receive complementary gifts of clothing accessories which includes a bag with artwork from local designer and illustrator Julia Emilani. Desserts and alcoholic beverages will also be available. According to Wonder, $1 from every order placed during opening week will be donated to The Greater Boston Food Bank. The business will also partner with local food rescue organization Spoonfuls to donate meals from training to neighbors in need.

Wonder has already opened locations in Framingham, Belmont, and Natick so far this year, with a total of nine locations planned to launch this spring including Medford.
