Meghan and Mark Blazey

Meghan Lin Underhill and Mark Harold Blazey, who reside on Park St.,Brookline, Ma are both nurses who met at the University of Buffalo. They were married October 13th at Holiday Valley Resort in Ellicottville, New York.  The couple exchanged vows at the top of Holiday Valley Ski Mountain at two thirty in the afternoon.  Pastor Roula Alkhouri from the First Presbyterian Church of Batavia NY officiated.

Meghan Underhill earned her Ph.D. in nursing science, graduating summa cum laude from the University of Buffalo in 2010. She received her undergraduate nursing degree and family nurse practitioner credentials from the University of Buffalo and graduated with high honors. She continues her work as a research fellow and clinical inquiry specialist at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA.  

She is the daughter of David and Deborah Underhill, and the late Arlene Underhill (Amend), of Port St. Lucie, Florida and the granddaughter of Rita Amend, Luella and Lester Gutcher, and the late Carol and Archie Underhill of Batavia, NY.

Mark Blazey graduated from the University of Buffalo School of nursing cum laude in 2008. He is a third year graduate student at the Bouvier School of Nursing, Northeastern University in Boston, MA.  He will graduate in May, 2012 with a masters degree, credentialed as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. Mr. Blazey will work as a nurse anesthetist at Lawrence Hospital in Lawrence, MA.

He is the son of Drs. Mark and Karen Blazey of Canandaigua, New York and the granddaughter of Ann Blazey and the late Everett Blazey of Canandaigua, New York and Carol and the late Harold Davison of Syracuse, NY.
