BJFF Celebrates Three Decades of Film with Online Events
BJFF will showcase films of all genres, including a rich new category highlighting short films made during the COVID-19 quarantine.

This week’s guest on BrooklineHub In-Depth is Boston Jewish Film Festival (BJFF) executive director Susan Adler. Running November 7-21 virtually, the 33rd annual festival will showcase films of all genres, including a rich new category highlighting short films made during the COVID-19 quarantine.
Adler says the festival will be virtual again this year. Audience members will purchase access to films and screen them at their leisure during the festival period. Some events, including workshops, panel discussions, and Q&As, can only be experienced live during their scheduled event time.
You can buy tickets and make donations to BJFF on their website. The interview with BJFF executive director Susan Adler premieres on “BrooklineHub In-Depth” on Monday, November 8.
