Brookline To Celebrate International Yoga Day With Outdoor Yoga Class

The free event is scheduled for Wednesday, June 21, 2023, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Emerson Park.

BROOKLINE, MA – Brookline is set to celebrate International Day of Yoga with an outdoor yoga session open to all community members.

Health Commissioner Sigalle Reiss and Recreation Director Leigh Jackson invite residents to attend the annual community yoga class hosted by the Brookline Departments of Public Health and Brookline Recreation in celebration of International Day of Yoga. Last year close to 150 members of the Brookline community attended.

This year, the event will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Emerson Park located at 101 Davis Ave.

In the event of rain, the class will be canceled.

Experienced instructors from local yoga studios, including Coolidge Yoga Brookline and Healthworks, will teach the community yoga class. The departments welcome community members of all levels of yoga experience, including those new to this type of exercise.
