Brookline Fire Lieutenant Dies of Cancer

Brookline Fire Lt. Kenneth Fields died Friday of cancer. He was 54.

Fields served on the department since 1990. He leaves behind a wife and two sons, who also serve on the fire department, according to his obituary. Fields served in the Marines.

Visitation will be held Monday at 4 p.m. at the Bell-O’Dea Funeral Home in Brookline. His funeral will be held Tuesday at St. Lawrence Church in Chestnut Hill.
