2 Arrested In Brookline In Connection To Boston Shooting

Both had outstanding warrants for their arrest.

BROOKLINE, MA — Two people were recently arrested in connection with a Boston shooting, according to Brookline Police Lieutenant David Hill.

The pair was arrested on St. Paul Street on the morning of Friday, May 22, with both having arrest warrants out of Boston District Court. Police have not released the identity of either person but said one of them is a Brookline resident. Some of the charges they are facing reportedly include assault and battery causing serious bodily injury, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, illegal possession of ammunition, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling.

The situation did not involve the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement, despite their recent activity in town.

"There were officers from multiple different agencies that participated in the search and arrest, including Brookline Detectives and uniformed officers," Hill told Patch.
