Brookline is One of Ten Communities Where Single-family Homes Have Held Their Values

According to a Boston Globe analysis of information by the Warren Group, Brookline's batch of single-family homes has held its value much better than the rest of the state.

It sounde like, despite the Great Recession trend, a number of the single-family comes in Brookline have actually increased in value since the top of the real estate market in 2005. Only ten communities state-wide have managed this trick.

That's the analysis from the Boston Globe, which gleaned its information from the Warren Group. (Note that Globe headline says 11 communities, but only ten are presented.)
