Brookline Police Looking To Identify Potential Shoplifter

BROOKLINE, MA — The police department is looking to identify a person it believes was involved in a shoplifting incident that took place in late March.

The person was captured on surveillance footage during the reported incident on Tuesday, March 31 at a retail business on Commonwealth Avenue. According to police, the person of interest is a man with black hair. He was last seen wearing a hooded "Ed Hardy" sweatshirt, blue jeans, and white, black, and orange Jordan sneakers. He also is believed to wear an earring on his right ear.

Community members with relevant information are being asked to contact detectives at 617-730-2244. The department emphasized that the man is not considered "wanted" at this time.
