Brookline Youth Baseball Hits It Out Of The Park: Advance To State

Two Brookline Youth Baseball Teams are advancing to the State Championships this weekend.

BROOKLINE, MA — The Brookline baseball 10-year-olds and 11-year-olds are hitting it out of the park this summer. Following up on a record breaking season last summer, the 11's won the Little League Sectional Championship this weekend in West Roxbury with 13-12 win over a strong Walpole team. The 10's won their sectional final over Needham in Medfield Monday night.

That means both teams will be advancing to the Little League State Championship in Holden this weekend.

Only 4 teams in all of Massachusetts remain for each division, according to the youth baseball league coordinator.
