City Kids Makes Generous Donation to Brookline Teen Center

Will benefit annual gala and support student programs

BROOKLINE, MA (February 13, 2019) - City Kids, a youth education nonprofit program developed by City Realty, donated $5,000 to the Brookline Teen Center which will benefit its annual gala in March. City Realty Managing Partner Steve Whalen was on hand to present the check to Matthew Cooney of the BTC.

The donation from City Realty will allow the nonprofit Brookline Teen Center to support tutor mentor programs, cover membership costs for low income students, help the music program purchase new equipment, and provide food and snacks for the teens.

This is the latest example of the City Kids mission to empower the students of Boston and beyond by providing educational resources and support. Since its inception, City Kids has donated more than 1,000 computers to local schools and educational programs. City Kids also provides unique experiences, such as an annual surf camp, with the goal of sparking intellectual curiosity among young students.
