Elizabeth M. Connelly Joins Boston Private Bank as Vice President, Trust Services

Boston, Mass. — Boston Private Bank & Trust Company, a leading wealth management and private banking company, announced Elizabeth “Liza” M. Connelly has joined the company as Vice President, Trust Services. She is based in Boston Private Bank’s headquarters at Ten Post Office Square.

Connelly joins a world-class team of trust professionals with significant expertise serving as trustee or co-trustee for Boston Private Bank’s investment management clients. As part of the Trust Services group, Connelly’s primary focus is to work with the Sales and Client Advisor teams to provide trust administration, management and fiduciary review services for trust accounts.

Connelly brings more than 22 years of banking and law experience to her new role, a background that has equipped her with a strong foundation for understanding both the financial and legal aspects surrounding trusts and estate planning. In her prior positions, Connelly served as a wealth strategist at Atlantic Trust; an associate in the Trusts & Estates department at Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster; an associate in the Private Client group at Deutsch Williams; and a financial services and global custody professional at Brown Brothers Harriman.

Connelly is an active member of the Boston Estate Planning Council and the Trusts & Estates Consortium. She also serves as a member of the Board of Overseers for the Massachusetts Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) and the Vice President of the Alumni Council for Dedham Country Day School. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Miami University, a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School and a Master’s degree in Taxation from Boston University’s School of Law.
