From catapults to electric pickles, this program is designed for children who like a challenge. Explore the world of everyday physical science in active and hands-on activities that encourage students to discover for themselves how and why things work the way they do. As a team, using trial and error methods, we’ll tackle one big project each week. We’ll also work individually and in small groups on an array of smaller challenges that relate to the weekly theme. In a playful and supportive environment students will perform experiments, research topics, build models, play games, and act out ideas. Outdoor fun and field games, free choice time, and swimming will be part of our program.
