Fugitive Found with 80 Grams of Heroin Near Brookline School, Police Say
Robert Pires, 22, of Randolph, and Jonathan Martinez, 19, of Jamaica Plain, were charged with heroin trafficking.

Police said two men—one with a warrant and the other with a revoked driver’s license—had 79 grams of heroin in their vehicle when they were pulled over next to The Little Children Schoolhouse in Brookline on Monday.
Robert Pires, 22, of Randolph, and Jonathan Martinez, 19, of Jamaica Plain, were charged with heroin trafficking, among other crimes.
Police said at about 4:30 p.m. Monday, an officer patrolling Washington Street pulled over their gray Infinity sedan for an inspection violation. A records search showed Martinez—the driver—had a revoked license and Pires had a warrant. They were placed under arrest. Police said they found about 40 grams of heroin in Pires’ pants and the rest in the engine block.

Police said the heroin was wrapped in small packages for sale.
