Lucky $150,000 Lottery Ticket Sold In Brookline

BROOKLINE, MA — A winning Powerball ticket worth $150,000 was sold in Brookline over the weekend, according to MassLottery.

The lucky ticket was purchased at Chestnut Hill's Putterham Market.

Powerball is a multi-state game that costs $2 per wager. The minimum jackpot is $20 million and increases based on ticket sales.

The current Powerball jackpot is sitting at $221,000,000, with the next drawing to occur at 10:59 p.m. Monday.

Drawings occur Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. On drawing nights, wagering closes at 10:00 p.m. and reopens at 11:15 p.m.
