Nobel Prize Winner Dr. Sheldon Glashow Endorses Dr. Natalia Linos

Brookline, MA - Today, Nobel Prize-winning American theoretical physicist and Brookline resident Dr. Sheldon Glashow announced his endorsement of Dr. Natalia Linos to represent Massachusetts’ 4th Congressional District. Dr. Glashow was the Metcalf Professor of Mathematics and Physics at Boston University and Eugene Higgins Professor of Physics at Harvard University. Dr. Glashow will hold a campaign event for Dr. Linos on Tuesday August 25 to discuss the importance of science in government.

“Congress must confront critical dangers - many demanding scientific literacy - such as COVID-19 along with other pandemics sure to follow, issues related to nuclear weaponry and power, the widespread pollution of our air, water and land, and the truly existential threat of climate change. There are far too few scientists within our government. As an expert epidemiologist experienced in matters of public health and natural resources, Dr. Linos has all the right stuff! She will play an essential role as our caring and concerned Congresswoman,” said Dr. Glashow.
