Patch Passport: A Little Bit of Paradise at Eve Michael Salon & Spa

Owner Simon Zilberstein opened Eve Michael Salon & Spa almost five years ago, and has been growing his business ever since. The vibrant orange walls, friendly staff and bright, clean space make this Beacon Street haven the perfect escape from the hustle bustle of the city.

The full-service Brookline salon offers everything from haircuts and styles to facials, waxing, massages, manicures and pedicures. You’ll also find some not-so-ordinary treatments on the menu, including the Gentlemen’s Pedicure, a refreshing foot treatment designed to exfoliate, the feet, shape and polish the toenails, and heal rough areas.

The Yon-Ka facial treatments are particularly unique to the salon, including the “Vital-Intense” deep revitalizing anti-wrinkle facial. The popular 75-minute facial is known to erase signs of fatigue and aging of the skin to produce a flawless, healthy glow. Eve Michael offers a variety of spa body treatments as well, like their  “Zone Minceur” cellulite treatment. Experts use a slimming compression body wrap made with a seaweed compound to reduce uneven skin tone and increase circulation. Who knew seaweed could come in handy, after all?

Salon’s Philosphy: “The philosophy is simple: to keep everybody happy and have the people working here feel at home.”

Naming the Salon: Zilberstein said the name derived in memory of his parents, Eve and Michael, who passed away years ago.

Yon-Ka Product: “It’s one of the best in the world,” claims Zilberstein of the natural beauty product the salon uses for facials and body treatments. “It’s a very high end product.” In fact, celebrities like Madonna, Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Lopez are even using the product and it’s been raved about in magazines like Glamour, Self and Marie Claire.
