Thanksgiving Football: Brookline Warriors V Newton North Tigers

BROOKLINE, MA — Brookline is set to head to Newton North on Thanksgiving morning, as tradition has dictated for the past century or so. And it's going to be a cold one out there, so bring the mittens, the hot beverages and your best cheer.

After facing each other during the regular season in recent seasons the teams will play each other for the first time this season on Thursday.

Newton North won five straight Thanksgiving Day games between and 2013-2017. Last year North beat Brookline 41-8. Don't let the recent streak fool you though.

Historically, the teams have held their own against each other.
