Veterans Day 2021: Celebrations In Brookline On Nov. 11

An in-person ceremony will take place starting at 11 a.m. at the World War Monument near the Town Hall.

BROOKLINE, MA — The Town of Brookline will be honoring those who have served the country this Veterans Day, which falls on Thursday, Nov. 11.

An in-person ceremony will take place starting at 11 a.m. at the World War Memorial, located outside the Town Hall.

The event will feature remarks from American Legion Post 11 Vietnam Veteran and Bronze Star Recipient Gregory Taylor, Director of the Brookline Office of Veterans'Service William T. McGroarty, and Brookline Select Board member Bernard Greene.

The ceremony will also include live music and comments from guest speaker Neil Gordon, a VFW Post 864 U.S. Navy Vietnam War Veteran, and Rep. Tommy Vitolo.
