2 Pickleball Courts Proposed At Burlington's Northwest Park
Two pickleball courts have been proposed for Northwest Park that will be open to the public.
BURLINGTON, MA — Two pickleball courts are being proposed at the Northwest Park complex. The courts would be "within the previously built outdoor amenity space center and park area," according to documents filed with the town.
Property Manager Kristopher Dalen said in an email: "All I can share at the moment is that the courts will be open to the public during specified hours that are still being determined and will be announced in 2024."
Thirteen replacement shade trees will be planted both around the courts and around Northwest Park, according to the documents. These will replace 13 pine trees at the site "that need to be removed because they have become a safety hazard and to make room for the pickleball courts."
