5 Important Dates on the Burlington Public Schools Calendar

BURLINGTON, MA — The 2016-2017 school year is almost here, and while students may be dreading it, the time has come to make preparations for the upcoming school year.

Grade 1-12 Students are due back in Burlington schools on Tuesday, Sept. 6, with preschool students returning Sept. 12.

Here are five other important dates on the Burlington public schools calendar that you should be aware of during the first few months of the year.

1. BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHTS: The tentative date for back-to-school night for Pine Glen School and Francis Wyman School is Sept. 14, Memorial School and Burlington High School is Sept. 25, and Marshal Simonds Middle School is Sept. 20.
2. CAMP BOURNEDALE (for Grade 5): Francis Wyman and Pine Glen on Sept. 21 and 22, Fox Hill and Memorial on Sept. 22 and 23.
3. Oct. 13: Burlington High School Hall of Fame Banquet at Cafe Escadrille
4. Nov. 6: BHS Music Boosters Gala Concert and Silent Auction
5. Nov. 10: Parent Conferences- BHS and MSMS do not have school. Professional Development at all elementary schools, no classes will be held.
