The Pioneers, led by outside hitter August McGonagle, earned their first non-conference win of 2026 and now head to Chelmsford for the next round.    

• Middlesex Sheriff Office's Youth Public Safety Academy For Wilmington Kids Set For July 6-10; Registration Opens June 1 (wilmingtonapple.com) — Families in Burlington can sign up kids ages 8-12 for the Middlesex Sheriff’s Youth Public Safety Academy, with a bus stop serving Burlington during the August 3–7 session. Registration opens June 1, costs $125 per week, and includes transportation, meals, and hands-on safety activities at the Chelmsford training academy.
