Research Institute for Learning and Development, (ResearchILD) Announces New Office in Burlington, MA
A nonprofit educational organization that works with educators, schools, and individual students to develop executive function strategies
BURLINGTON, MA — The Research Institute for Learning and Development (ResearchILD), a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing research and education in executive function, has announced the opening of its Burlington, Massachusetts, office. Previously, the organization had been in Lexington, MA, for over thirty years.

Founded by Lynn Meltzer, Ph.D., ResearchILD has spent more than forty years working with educators and schools to help students develop executive function strategies such as planning, organization, time management, flexible thinking, and self-monitoring.

ResearchILD also provides individualized executive function coaching and academic remediation services for students, as well as educational consultation led by Dr. Meltzer for schools, educators, and families seeking expertise in executive function and learning differences.
The new office space provides collaborative workspace for staff as well as dedicated areas for student learning and professional development workshops for educators.
“ResearchILD has always focused on bridging research and practice to help students learn how to learn,” said Dr. Meltzer. “Our new space will allow us to continue growing this work and create new opportunities for collaboration with educators, students, and families.”
The Burlington office will also serve as an Executive Function Learning and Leadership Hub, supporting collaboration among educators, researchers, and practitioners working to help students develop the strategies they need to become independent learners.
Our work with schools and districts spans the United States and internationally. Working with educators across 49 states and 48 countries, we are supporting the learning of hundreds of thousands of students every day.
This new location allows ResearchILD to expand in-person learning opportunities and strengthen regional partnerships.
