Kayla Coluci Awarded Scholarship

Kayla Coluci received the Brendan M. Curtin Scholarship. This scholarship is given to a deserving senior student who has consistently attended CCD classes at St. Margaret for twelve years. This student must have a strong Catholic Faith and someone who has volunteered their time for parish and community events. This scholarship is awarded in memory of Brendan Curtin who passed away at fourteen months old of a rare form of cancer. Brendan’s grand parents, Charles and Eileen Curtin, came to Burlington from Somerville in 1955. Charles Curtin was a financial advisor to Msgr. Fitzpatrick who was the pastor of St. Margaret’s at that time. Brendan is the son of Brian and Gail Curtin. Brian Curtin is currently the director of the 11th and 12th grades Religious Education Program and has been an active member of St. Margaret’s for fifty years.
