BEST "Shrek, Jr." proves beauty is in the eye of the ogre!
Family fun on stage at Fogelberg Performing Arts Center on July 22 and 23
Beauty will be in the eye of the ogre when the students of the Burlington Educational Summer Theatre (BEST) take the stage on Friday, July 22, at 7:00 pm, and Saturday, July 23, at 2:00 pm to perform Shrek, Jr.
A delightfully funny production for the entire family, performances will take place in the Fogelberg Performing Arts Center of Burlington High School.
Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and the highly successful Broadway musical, it's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairytale, Shrek Jr. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.
