Fionda To Meet Voters At Bedford Concert On The Common
The Fionda Committee is pleased to announce that Dave Fionda will be meeting with voters on Thursday July 26, 2012 on the Bedford Town Common from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Fionda is an accomplished professional jazz drummer, who has performed throughout Massachusetts and in New Orleans.
“Events like these concerts are a great way to bring the community together,” Fionda said. “I can’t wait to meet voters and enjoy a night of great music.”

Dave is a Democrat running a write-in campaign to replace Representative Charley Murphy, who recently announced he would be retiring from the legislature.

Dave will bring his lifelong dedication to helping others to Beacon Hill. In addition to having been an elected Town Meeting member for two terms, he has been appointed to several town boards, including the Land Use Committee, and the Informational Services Advisory Committee. Dave is also a Rotarian, single parent, coach, successful small business owner and entrepreneur.
Since Charley’s announcement was beyond the June 1st date for candidate withdrawals, he will remain the only candidate on the ballot for the September 6th primary. Should Representative Murphy “win” the September 6 primary, the Democratic Town Committees of the three towns in the District, Bedford, Burlington and Wilmington, will meet and caucus. They will them decide who will be the Democratic nominee in the November 6 general election.
