Burlington Coronavirus: Fields, Playgrounds, Dog Park Closed
The Parks and Recreation department announced Monday that the Burlington Dog Park is closed until further notice.
BURLINGTON, MA — Burlington recreation areas including playgrounds and the dog park will be closed until further notice. The Parks and Recreation Department announced Monday it was closing the dog park. Town fields, courts and fitness and playground equipment were closed Saturday.
"As the weather gets better we urge you abide by the Governor's advisory and refrain from gathering in our parks and avoid any unnecessary person to person contact," the department said on Facebook.
The tennis courts are locked and the basketball nets are "secured," the department said.

As of Monday morning, Burlington had 29 cases of the virus.
