Burlington Coronavirus Update: Case Total Crosses 100
Data released by the state Wednesday shows that more than four in every 1,000 residents have tested positive for the virus.
BURLINGTON, MA — Over 100 Burlington residents have tested positive for the new coronavirus, as of Wednesday afternoon, according to data released by the state. There are 131 confirmed cases in town.
That means that for every 1,000 residents, 4.73 have tested positive for the virus.
As of Monday, April 13 there were 63 confirmed cases in town, according to the town Board of Health. The Board of Health stopped reporting case totals when the state began publishing municipal counts, last week.
