Burlington Democrats Announce Delegates For State Convention

Burlington Democrats recently elected delegates to the 2024 Massachusetts Democratic Convention.

BURLINGTON, MA — Democrats in Burlington, MA on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, held in-person and hybrid Caucus to elect delegates to the 2024 Massachusetts Democratic Convention. Co-chair, Janice Cohen will serve as an ex-officio delegate.

The elected Delegates are: Ruth Kessler, Sally Willard, Rosalyn Minassian, Cindy Phillips, Mireille Leger, Elizabeth Lovece, Marielle Vana, Larry Cohen, Ed Dube, Alex Rutfield, David Lovece, Christopher Campbell, and Phil Wachsler.

The elected delegates will voice their support for the nominee for the United States Senate and to set forth a winning agenda for the Commonwealth and the nation.

The in-person convention will take place on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA. Each delegate will cast their vote for the preferred Democratic candidate for the US Senate. Candidates must receive 15 percent of the vote to appear on the September primary ballot and the candidate receiving the majority of the convention’s vote will receive the endorsement of the convention.
