Burlington DTC Recognizes Two High School Students

From Burlington DTC: The Burlington Democratic Town Committee, took time on Thursday, March 15 at the Burlington High School Fashion Show, to appreciate and recognize Burlington High School students Teresa Chai and Stefanie Sganga for their work on a recent project for the committee.

As the Burlington Democratic Town Committee looked towards 2018, the desire to modernize to committee was on the forefront of Chairman Christopher Campbell’s plan for 2018. In search of where to obtain a new logo, Rosalyn Minassian, the BDTC’s new Outreach Chair suggested that the BDTC look to Burlington High School and tap some of our talented high school students for help. Ms. Minassian reached out to Mr. Keith Mistler, Art Educator at Burlington High School and two art students on independent projects for the logo. Teresa Chai and Stefanie Sganga spent about a month on the project and created 2 incredible logos each for a total of 4 logos for the Burlington Democratic Town Committee to choose between. In a very close vote, the board voted on using the logo with map of Burlington in the background with “Burlington Democrats” on the front. The BDTC is very excited to have an official logo but The BDTC plans to use the other logos as well.
