The Burlington Historical Museum is OPEN for Burlington Day.

The Burlington Historical Museum will be Open on Saturday August 7, from 11:00 Am - 3:00 PM . Admission is Free.

The building that today houses the Burlington Historical Museum has a rich and varied past. Built in 1855, it was known as the Center School, to serve children living in the center of town since all the one room schoolhouses in various parts of town were filled to capacity. In 1897 the building became Burlington's first Public Library. By 1967 the Police Department occupied the historic building as a temporary headquarters while awaiting the completion of a new police station. The building now houses the Burlington Historical Museum, which was dedicated on April 19, 1975.

It is Open for Tours by members of the Burlington Historical Commission on Burlington Day, August 7 and also on August 14. Please Visit
