Burlington Police Assists In Bedford Armed Robbery Investigation

Officers are investigating an armed robbery involving a firearm at the Bedford Motel.

From the Bedford Police Department:

BEDFORD, MA — Police Chief Robert Bongiorno reports that the Bedford Police Department is investigating an armed robbery involving a firearm at the Bedford Motel.

Police were called to the motel located at 30 North Road at 7:39 p.m. Upon arrival, officers were told that two men entered the office and robbed the front desk clerk by displaying a firearm and demanding money.

The suspects, described as two light-skinned white or Hispanic males, fled with a quantity of cash in an unknown vehicle possibly in the direction of Carlisle Road. One suspect was dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt, and the other was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.

The Burlington Police Department K-9 responded to attempt to track the suspects. Detectives also recovered tire tracks and are in the process of reviewing video surveillance.
