Burlington Police Investigating Urine Incident At Library

The suspect put urine in the soap dispenser and the air freshener of the men's room.

BURLINGTON, MA -- Police were called to the Burlington Public Library last month to follow-up on a report of suspicious activity. What they found may be even more disgusting than suspicious. A library visitor reported finding a cup of urine on a shelf in the men's room; upon further investigation police determined that urine had also been put into the men's room soap dispensers and air freshener.

"Witnesses reported that the bathroom had a noticeable odor of urine throughout," Burlington Police said in a press release issued Friday about the March 22 incident.

Police are reviewing video surveillance footage in an attempt to identify a suspect. Anyone with information is being asked to contact Burlington Police at 781-272-1212.
