
BURLINGTON, MA — Only 5.3 percent of Burlington residents took to the polls Thursday during the state primary election.
While there were only two contested elections, Burlington residents chose the candidate who would go on to win their respective races. Marilyn Devaney took both Burlington and the third district for the Democratic Governor's Councilor race, and Middlesex County Sheriff Peter Koutoujian won the democratic nomination in both Burlington and the rest of the county.
