Burlington's Shaun Hart District Athletic Director Of The Year
The Burlington High School associate principal is one of eight district athletic directors of the year.
BURLINGTON, MA — Burlington High School Associate Principal Shaun Hart was named the District B Athletic Director of the Year by the Massachusetts Secondary Schools Athletic Directors Association. Hart has been Burlington High's associate principal for athletics for five years. He's one of eight athletic directors of the year, one for each of MIAA district.
The Association's annual conference was canceled due to coronavirus, but they tweeted the winners of this year's awards. The Association provided the following bio of Hart's high school athletic career.
“Shaun Hart currently is in his 5th year as an associate principal for athletics at Burlington High School," the Association said. "Previously he served as the director of athletics and physical education and health instructor at Revere Public Schools and physical education teacher at Westford Academy."

“Shaun earned his Bachelor of Science degree in physical education from Salem State University and a Masters in Education Administration from Cambridge College and Master of Athletic Leadership from Northeastern. At the local level, Shaun served as the District B Treasurer and founded the Red Devil Athletic Leadership Team. At the state level, Shaun currently serves on the MIAA Tournament Management Committee, MIAA State Wide Tournament Committee, and MIAA Alignment and Appeal Committee. Shaun was the recipient of the MSSADA Ted Damko Award in 2016.”
The Ted Damko award goes to an athletic administrator with "five or less years of experience in the field and ... significant contributions to the school, league, district and State."
