Parent Dropping Off Kid Crashes Car Into Burlington's Primrose School

Police said there were no injuries and no serious structural damage to the building on Greenleaf Way.

BURLINGTON, MA — A parent dropping off their child struck a curb with their vehicle and crashed into Primrose School of Burlington on Friday, according to police. No injuries were reported.

Burlington police confirmed the incident on Twitter. In a news release, police said there were no injuries and no serious structural damage to the building after the vehicle struck the side of Primrose School at 10 Greenleaf Way around 9 a.m.

The driver involved is not being charged, police said.

"This was an unfortunate mishap involving a driver who was very cooperative with our investigation," Police Chief Thomas Browne said in the release. "We are thankful that no one was injured."

Primrose School is an Atlanta-based chain of accredited early childhood education centers. Primrose has schools in 34 states.
