Here are some of the calls Burlington Police responded to this week.

BURLINGTON, MA -- The following are items recorded by Burlington Police Department. It is a sample of the types of calls the Burlington Police responded to between November 8 and 14. Sunday, Nov. 12: A juvenile was arrested for shoplifting at Macy's.

Wednesday, November 8

8:58 am: Lahey Security called to report a Jeep parked in an HP spot with broken rear window. Same has been there a few days. Vehicle renter identified and info given to security to check patient status. Damage to vehicle occurred at another location and appears to be in the process of being fixed.

5:26 pm: Locust street caller reports his neighbor is yelling out her back window. Narrative: Spoke with the mother who stated her daughter was trying to call her over to the house next door. All is quiet at this time.

7:30 pm: Caller reports his wife has not answered the phone since early this morning. Caller came home and wife was not home. Same has no idea where she is. Vehicle had recently been run by Boston PD, same was located at Tufts Medical center. Husband was notified of her location.

Thursday, November 9

7:20 am: Caller reports a German Shepard was in the left lane of 95 N.

9:58 am: Verbal argument between employee at Randall Smith Dental and employer over reduction of work hours. Employee advised if she wishes to discuss the issue with her employer to contact him later in the day by phone. Employee was also advised if she feel there is an underlying problem she can contact the labor commissions office.

2:15 pm: Approximately $180 stolen at Hollister by two parties who had a child with them. Items recovered and DCF to be notified. Parties to be summoned to court: Maureen N. Campbell-Newson, 46, of Dorchester and Lisianna Maria Carter, 34, of Dorchester.

3:08 pm: Shoplifting at Kohl's. Summons issued to Julie E. O'Brien, 37, of Wilmington.

5:08 pm: Caller reports someone may have attempted to enter his home while away today. Caller left the home at 9am and returned home at 5pm to find his front storm door unlocked and open but primary door secure and no entry gained.

Friday, November 10

9:18 pm: Assist Bedford PD officers with a past assault on a police officer incident. Summons issued to Joshua A. Bookman, 41, of Billerica at Lahey Hospital.

11:03 pm: Caller reports suspicious motor vehicle drove down Sawmill Road. Two females in vehicle were advised by friends that the area was haunted. Operator of that vehicle advised to leave the area.

Saturday, November 11

12:25 am: Two men were fighting in the bar at King's Bowling Alley and have now moved outside. Fight ended prior to police arrival. Some of the involved parties fled area, and no complaints of injuries.

8:59 am: Resident reports white Acura MDX stolen from his Dover Drive driveway overnight.

5:44 pm: Macy's Loss Prevention requested an officer for uncooperative female presently detained. Estimated value on merchandise taken in $100. Adult party took custody of juvenile. Store to prosecute.

Sunday, November 12

7:20 am: Three mailboxes vandalized on Freeport Drive.

11:24 am: Caller requests assistance with shutting water off to washing machine, assistance given over the phone.

12:34 pm: Caller reports that the driver of a grey Honda Accord drove his car erratically causing a minor collision. As a result this male exited his automobile where an assault occurred. The other party drove away prior to our arrival. Attempts were made to speak with this party but he was not at home.

Monday, November 13

4:03 am: Winchester PD request we check area for a female who is threatening suicide. Phone was last pinged in area of 2400 District Ave.at 3:30 a.m. Searched entire area. Unable to locate vehicle or individual at this time.

8:30 am: Caller from Freeport Drive reports his mailbox was smashed overnight.

9:02 am: Melrose PD reports locating a stolen car in town. Owners notified.

5:08 pm: Wegman's Security reports detaining male shoplifter.

5;22 pm: During a motor vehicle stop on Middlesex Turnpike a summons was issued to Yvonne Castellon, 25, of North Andover, for operating a motor vehicle after registration was revoked.

Tuesday, November 14

7:36 am: Wilmington PD called to report they received a call of a German Shepherd running on Rt. 62 near the Burlington line and just wanted us to be aware.

9:00 am: Party reports her daughter was yelled at by another parent while waiting at the bus stop.

5:19 pm: Caller reports he has a lost dog in his house. May be lost dog from Woburn, Woburn PD notified. Dog was not service dog, dog returned to owner on the same street.

9:53 pm: Caller reports the management of the Arboretum is towing her car for not having a residence sticker displayed. Officer spoke with towing company. Towing company is going to speak with management about seeking a different resolution and will come back at a different time. Tow company put two cars back down and left the area. Both sides were advised the situation is a civil issue.
