Catalytic Converter, Ladder, and Perfume Reported Stolen
The following are Burlington Police Department log entries from August 5 to August 8.

Following are excerpts from the Burlington Police Department log. Note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests included in the daily police log. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
Monday, August 5
- At 8:29 a.m. a Mountain Road resident said she heard a loud noise around midnight. In the morning they found a broken beer bottle and glass everywhere in the driveway. The residence has also been victimized by eggs in the past.
- At 12:08 p.m. a caller from Kohl's Department Store reported that his construction company had a ladder stolen over the weekend, valued at $1,100. Security will call police when able to view cameras.
- At 2:39 p.m. the manager of Beacon Village reported a motor vehicle crashed into the bushes near the office. There was no personal injury suffered during the one-car crash.
- At 9:27 p.m. an employee at Pizza Days on Winn Street said a male in the store was throwing stuff around the inside of the store and complaining. A 30-year-old Woburn man was summonsed for disturbing the peace.
- At 10:15 a.m. two syringes were found in the bushes behind Burlington Day Care on B Street.
- At 3:57 p.m. a caller said his motor vehicle was broken into while he was inside Planet Fitness. The passenger side window was smashed and a wallet was stolen.
- At 7:07 p.m. a Fox Hill Road resident reported that a man who fell off of the roof was laying in his backyard. The reporting party said the man does not live at the residence and appeared to be intoxicated. The Fire Department handled the incident and transported the man to the hospital.
- At 12:52 p.m. a Beacon Village resident reported a stolen catalytic converter that was cut off of her vehicle overnight. This is the second time within a year her vehicle has been targeted.
- At 7:56 p.m. the loss prevention manager at Nordstrom Rack reported that a man entered the store and stole an arm full of merchandise before he fled in a white SUV. About $800-900 worth of perfume was attempted stolen, but recovered.
- At 10:04 p.m. the Shell Station gas attendant reported that a man has been hanging around the store and making her feel uncomfortable. She said he pointed an orange squirt gun at her and left on foot. Police did an extensive check of the area but were unable to locate the man.
