DA: Daughter's Friend Watched Stabbing Attack Live on Webcam

Christopher Piantedosi, 39, was in Woburn District Court for an arraignment on charges in her home last Thursday evening.

During the arraignment, Assistant District Attorney Nicole Allain provided new information on the case, including that the defendant and victim's 15-year-old daughter was home during the attack and that one of her friends saw the incident live on a web chat through an iPad.

"The 9-1-1 call came from the 15-year-old daughter who reported that her father stabbed her mother," Allain said. "Officers entered the side door of the home and found the body and a bloody knife."

Allain alleged that Piantedosi stabbed Pulisciano a total of 34 times, including a fatal strike to the victim's neck. The prosecution said that two knives were used in the attack, which took place in the daughter's bedroom. Allain said police found the body wedged between the bed and wall and pronounced Pulisciano dead at the scene.

The prosecution added that the defendant's sweatshirt, recovered in the investigation, was red with blood.

The district attorney's office also stated that the couple's daughter was at home during the incident and that a friend of hers saw the attack on a live video feed to her iPad.

"The daughter was speaking with a friend on her iPad [before the attack] and the friend could hear the two adults arguing," Allain said. "The daughter left the iPad propped up and left the room."

Allain said the friend then heard the daughter say to her father "What are trying to do, kill mom?" Shortly after the friend could see Pulisciano enter the room, followed by the defendant, the prosecution said. According to the report Piantedosi yelled "You got to die," and Pulisciano replied "Chris, please stop, I love you."

Piantedosi was ordered held without bail and was ordered not to see either of the his two children. He will be back in court on June 7.
