Dirt Spill Closes 2 Lanes On Route 128

BURLINGTON, MA — Expect a slow ride home if you are on Route 128 in Lexington or Burlington.

A dirt spill on the highway near the Middlesex Turnpike has the right lanes blocked as crews work to clean up the mess. Traffic on the northbound side of the highway is backed up beyond Exit 30 with the slowdown beginning near Route 2, according to the Total Traffic Network.
