Drugged Driving, Harassment, And More: Burlington Police Log

August 11

4:29 p.m. - During at traffic stop on Middlesex Turnpike, a 21-year-old from Arlington was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

6:36 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Middlesex Turnpoke near Route 128, Elijah Muwonge, 23, of Billerica, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Muwonge also had an active warrant.

August 12

2:07 p.m. - A 19-year-old from Burlington on Teabeery Lane was issued a summons for criminal harassment.

3:28 p.m. - A caller reported a shoplifing incident at Sears at the Burlington Mall. Sean Callery, 33, of Lowell, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation (second offense). Callery also had an active warrant.

8:17 p.,. - A caller on Old Colony Road told police that an uninvited guest came to the house and caused damage. A 17-year-old was issued a summons for malicious destruction of property over $250 and assault and battery.

August 13

7:58 p.m. - During a traffic stop on Winn Street, near Cambridge Street, Kevin Costanzo, 24, of Burlington, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence of drugs and marked lanes violation. He also received a summons for larceny under $250 for a previous incident.
