Expanding Restaurant Chain To Open Burlington Mall Location

BURLINGTON, MA — Rocco's Tacos & Tequila Bar will open a restaurant at the Burlington Mall this summer.

Rocco's has 11 other locations in Florida and New York. The Burlington restaurant will be its first in Massachusetts.

The restaurant has 5,343 square feet of space with indoor seating for 200 people plus an outdoor patio.

In addition to a wide range of tacos, the menu includes appetizers, burritos and bowls, quesadillas, enchiladas, and more.

Rocco's Taco's first opened in 2007. The Burlington location will have a "seasonally refreshed menus, signature margaritas, tableside guacamole, and a vibrant energy that has defined the concept for nearly two decades," according to a statement from the brand.

Founder Rocco Mangel has ties to the area, as he has family in Watertown and spent several summers in the Boston area.

"Boston has always been part of my story," Mangel said in a statement. "I grew up spending summers here with my family, and those experiences stayed with me. There's a pride, grit, and authenticity to this community that aligns perfectly with what we've built at Rocco's. Opening in Massachusetts feels like a full-circle moment."
