Expansion Planned For Shopping Plaza In Burlington
A proposal before the town's Planning Board would nearly double the size of the plaza.
BURLINGTON, MA — A proposal before the town's Planning Board calls for the expansion of a commercial plaza.
The 85 Wilmington Road site currently has 19,806 square feet of floor area. The expansion would boost that by 17,044 square feet, making a total of 36,850 square feet in total, according to an application filed with the town.
The plaza is currently home to a Dunkin', a spa and nail salon, and a jewelry store.

The expanded plaza would have 117 parking spaces.
"The project will enhance commercial capacity with the Business General (GB) Zoning District, improve the overall functionality and aesthetic quality of the site, and support continued economic growth in Burlington," according to the proposal.

A public hearing for the project is on the Planning Board's agenda for its meeting Thursday, April 16, at 6:30 p.m. at Burlington Town Hall.
